Preschool Holiday Book Exchange
This year, in celebration of the holidays, we ask that our students participate in a school-wide book celebration. Book cost should range from $10.00 to $15.00 and should be age appropriate. Remember, reading with your child is one of the greatest gifts you can give! Rooms 3 and 4 will do an exchange between friends. Rooms 1, 2, 7, &8 will be books you have purchased for your own child(ren). Please see your child’s classroom for more information.
Private Elementary Gift Exchange
We will be having a gift exchange Friday Dec. 16th. Gifts should range between $12.00-$15.00. We will be picking names this week. Please see Ms. Riggs or Ms. Flores for more information.
T.G.P Holiday Party
Our Holiday Party and visit from Santa will be held on December 16th. Sign- up sheets will be posted in your child’s classroom.
Cookie Dough is Back!
Our fall fundraiser is back by popular demand. SaleStarts Nov. 18th –Nov. 29th. Orders will be delivered Dec. 13th. Please make arrangements to pick –up your cookie dough order on this day after 12 p.m… Thanks in advance for helping us get new and fun games and supplies for our classrooms.
Book Orders
Check out great early holiday shopping ideas from Scholastic. The holidays are right around the corner. Books are a great way to enhance iteracy. Please turn Scholastic book orders in by December 2nd, 2010. Checks are payable to Scholastic. Please remember to write your child’s name in the memo.
TGP Policies Regarding Vacation Requests for Infant through Pre-school
Your child(ren) must have been continuously enrolled for three (3) months prior to your vacation in order to qualify for vacation credit. When two(2) weeks notice is provided, during each school year (Sept- Aug.), vacation credit is earned up to ten days, as computed on an annualized basis. Vacation credit is not given for holidays or partial time. Please remember that only one discounted program is allowed per family and may not be combined with any other discounted offers. Make sure you get your requests in two weeks ahead of time!
Winter Break Arrangements
If you haven’t already, please fill out your form in the front office as soon as possible so that we can be prepared for your child’s attendance during the winter break.
Secret Santa Store
Starting Dec.5-9th The Growing Place will be having a special holiday store just for kids. They can shop for family and friends, prices range from .25 – $12.00. Please see attached flier. If you have any questions please see Ms. Patty
New Car Seat Law as of Jan. 1, 2012
Parents as of January 1, 2012Californiahas passed a new law for children in car seats. They must be 8 years old or 4 ‘9”. So please make sure you are prepared for the new law.
